So the Japanese nuclear disaster is now rated by Japan as a level 7, the highest level which also sits Chernobyl. I see a STALKER game set in Japan now. I wonder if North Korea is gonna try something.

They've probably been there for some time, the government is only now getting around to it because they can't keep a lid on it any longer. There still is a big difference between the two. Most of Japan's fallout is falling on Japan. Without the explosion like you had a Chernobyl, fallout won't make it (not much at least) into the stratosphere and circle the world.
If it does explode, however....

if it does then based off of stuff i read about chernobyl somewhere around 80% of japan will get covered in varying amounts of radiation. i love japan so im pretty worried about what could happen.

Wouldn't that be cool though? Imagine a island the size of Japan devoid of people, like a giant Chernobyl. But really I don't harbor much ill will towards Japan. Though I would like them to stop destroying our youth's minds with delusions from anime.

I think they run cleaner as well, besides what happened at Chernobyl was a bunch of mistake's that all added up to something really bad.
