There isn't a Fallout 3 thread so thought I would make it. I'll start by saying that this is my favorite PA game, and that I am actually playing it again right now. Anyone else play it? Whats your favorite place in the game? Mines the satellite array complex.

Hell yeah! It is my favorite as well and I still play it as I discovered that nearly after every DLC you had to reinvestigate the map as more stuff was stashed about. I was playing yesterday and came across 2 more random encounters and 2 places with caches that I hadn't found before which is saying alot as I have spent most of my over 500 hours just exploring under every rock in the wastes. As I spend most of my time just wandering the wastes I don't think I have a favorite area but I do wind up in the satellite array area alot, natural lines of drift I guess other then that I would have to say either north of megaton or around rivet city.

I have over 1200+ hours on Fallout 3, and the other day I found out that the intercom system in the Super Duper Mart had speakers up on the wall that you "activate". I really want to get this on the pc, or get one of those things so I can put mods on my 360. I think it would be really fun. I like how they always had a landmark which you could use to navigate out in the wastes, there was always something that you could always head towards to find something good it seems like.

Supposedly you can transfer pc geck mods via a thumb drive to the xbox.

Have you tried reverse pickpocketing caravan guards and scavengers and give them power armor and assault rifles to ensure they all don't all die off due to stronger encounters in the wastes such as albino rad scorpions? After 24 hours they will wear the armor and use the most powerful weapon in their inventory.

About the only good thing about the game, once the novelty wore off, was the existence of an awesome mod community. Like Oblivion, they've added not only new gameplay experience to the game, but also fixed much of what Bethesda got wrong. I haven't checked out the NV mods site, so they may have done the same for NV. www.fallout3nexus.com/www.newvegasnexus.com/For a sub board, you might consider a mods board so people can talk about their favorite mods.

Wastes hates mods since his laptop sucks and he's got a box.

Why? Far as I know doing what I am talking about isn't frowned upon, actually modding the xbox is.
