How old is your computer? Mine has plenty, 2 gigs ram and a video card near second to none. Funny how certain things haven't gotten much larger in capacity while other things have quadrupled in the past 4 years. I just remember one of your first posts asking if there were any STALKER fans out there

and I have wanted to play for awhile but have stuck mainly to console games because of the issues that computers tend to have and I was waiting for it to come to console but it never did, at least not as far as I am aware.

Wow, I use a dual core AMD with 2 Gig memory and I can play all the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. My guess is that it's time for a major upgrade. I'm just waiting on my new motherboard and I'll have a killer system.

Try decreasing the video settings to medium or low then go to advanced settings and bring down the viewing distance, grass density, shadows and detail levels down. Just keep playing with these till it runs smoothly, only bummer is that you have to restart the game each time for it to take effect.
