Since the whole Fukushima thing, and given the fact that I have a new smartphone, I've been looking at smartphone apps and how they apply to nuclear topics. One of the more interesting apps are those that show how far you are from nuclear sites, whether they be nuclear plants, disposal areas or uranium enrichment sites. www.einnews.com/247pr/206297techcrunch.com/2011/03/25/nuclearwatchdawg-app-launch/Nuclear Watchdawg in particular could be better. I would have like to have seen which types of disasters could most affect certain types of nuclear sites like power plants, enrichment centers, etc. with an overlay of possible fallout zones and conditions. I'm sure an accident at a place that makes yellow cake to be much different than a power plant core meltdown vs an accident at a nuclear research facility. The could also make money on providing solutions to people who live in potential danger zones around those areas, offering services like survival kits, fallout shelters, water purifiers, iodine pills, etc.
