Ok right now I am writing up the time line for a book series that I plan to one day finally get back around to making. Right now I need ideas to help give the universe its feel. I am looking for local legends about monsters, ghosts, supernatural things as well as the latest technologies and ancient weird legends and myths. if you think of anything please post it here. I will decide what goes good with what I have so far and decide from there so don't feel bad if I don't pick your idea. Once I am finished with the time line(for now) I will put it up in a couple places and I will invite people to make their own fan-fictions for it. Ones that I like may even become canon or have things from it made into canon. I hope to have it finished by the end of the year but with me and how lazy I get you never know.

I hope this is the kind of stuff you're looking for. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mothman Living relatively close to the place where it occurred, I grew up hearing a lot of stories about the Mothman. First spotted on November 12, 1966, in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, the mothman was described as a 12 foot tall humanoid creature with the wings of a moth, and red glowing eyes. He could fly at high speeds, and had a taste for dogs. It is believed that the Mothman was the result of a curse made by a Shawnee chief ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chief_Cornstalk ) who was betrayed by the soldiers at the local fort. Locals also believe that the Mothman had something to do with the collapse of The Silver Bridge into the Ohio river ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silver_Bridge ). -------------------------- You also may also want to check out the Flatwoods monster. Yes, I plan to use Mothman sightings for foretelling the end times. Plan to put in a bunch of old legends and such. I have heard of the flatwoods monster as well, I was scared of it as a kid after reading about it in a book about legends and mysterious places.
