Fallout New Vegas

FNV was a game made to appease fans and the original creators of Fallout. When Black Isle went bankrupt, Bethesda bought the rights to the Fallout franchise. FNV was created entirely by Obsidian Entertainment. The. Entire. Game. Bethesda published the game. Obsidian doesn't have a really good track record. In fact, they tend to fuck up every game they make. Look at what happened with Knight of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords. While I enjoyed the little improvements Obsidian made to FNV I wouldn't want to see them make another Fallout game. Bethesda save the franchise when they bought the rights and we should be thanking them for that.

The game would have remained as a niche among a few PC gamers. It never would have gained the widespread popularity it enjoys today. How many games are you playing that came out in 2008? No doubt F3 is one of them and you'll continue playing it until F4.

Bethesda has a tendency to spot potential in a video game and they've worked so hard on The Elder Scrolls that they can't possibly fuck up any game they make. When it comes to video games, Bethesda has the Midas Touch.

bioware has the "Midas touch" if you ask me but bethesda is also very good. never would have been interested in the fallout games if it wasnt for them and fallout 3.

Bioware is another of my favorite game companies. I can't say I like the gameplay, but the story line and depth of the characters certainly makes their games more enjoyable.

fallout new vegas doesn't compare to fallout 3 but i do admit in fallout 3 you ended up using plasma rifles all the time and they were power weapons while in new vegas instead of tanking everything like i used to i have to think more tactically so in a sense vegas is harder and makes you think more
