The author's first novel, Hunter - After The Fall is a very compelling account of a post-apocalyptic landscape in which Hunter Macintosh, a retired military veteran is holed up in an underground cave system in the American Pacific Northwest. It has been 14 years since the "End War" completely destroyed civilization; only a scant few are left to survive the brutish wilds alone or in small bands. On his own for years, Hunter runs across a group of travelers who are seeking help in protecting their small community which has been besieged by marauders. Full of action and suspense as well as romance, this book is an epic tale of man's fight to survive and rebuild some semblance of civilization in the midst of a post-apocalyptic world.

Book Two, The Gathering is to be released sometime this year.

Check out the illustration from the Prologue of Hunter - After The Fall. Maybe this will give you some indication of what the book is like. There are a total of 10 illustrations throughout the novel, all drawn by Chad Schoenauer.
