Hello. I am interested in learning about HAM radios. everything from how to use one to how to get a license for one to any information about them. Including if you have one. I will be investing in one very soon. I would like to be able to contact others from here in case of SHTF.

Although I'm not in the US, you encounter a lot of US regs etc.. online and US is a lot like Canada technically. (Canada is much more basic though in terms of legislative requirements)
I'm studying for my advanced (sort of equiv to the extra class) and have my basic with honours (allowing me to operate in HF) (sort of like the technician class)
