Seeing as how it only moves when the camera moves and fades out as the bonfire leaves the viewing radius, I would have to say it's an image refraction of the fire playing on the inner lens upside down. It does lead you to believe that the camera man was tracking the image but was just capturing the scope of the people thronged at that location. I have a tendency to do that as well with my video camera, a typical action of us amateurs
