POST is a post-apocalyptic browser game set in the United States after its downfall, you run a faction which NPC survivors and set them jobs to help grow the faction and increase its strength. I'm running a pact called New Rome which is the 4th Biggest pact in the game. We're situated in north-eastern America and intend to expand from that when we capture our current surrounding states.
Register here : postapocgame.com/register.php
State : New York, Vermont, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire or Maine.
Join New Rome : postapocgame.com/map.php?pact=12 click 'Request Invite' or whatever it says on the page. I'll then accept the invite and you'll be placed in our pact.
Basic Info:
Turns are every 6 hours (midnight, 6 am, noon, 6 pm central standard time), at which point your scavengers will acquire various supplies and other events will occur that you will have to respond to.
You will want to assign your 10 starting survivors a job. At first you will want most of them being scavengers to acquire basic supplies and prevent your people from starving to death. To do this click the "manage" button under survivors on your faction's page. During these trips out for your scavengers might find other survivors and invite them back to your camp in which you can 'Let them in', 'Enslave them' or 'Turn them around'. If you enslave them they will produce labor points which you need to build structures such as walls, workshops, farms, shacks or wind pumps. They cost .5 of both food and water to run each person per turn, however they cannot be put into any other job. If you let the people in they cost 1 food and water to run per turn and can be put into whatever job you want. Once your population has grown quite a lot you can focus more on workers to produce labor and building structures. It's good to keep a 2:1 Scavenger to worker ratio so that your scavengers can keep finding food so that your faction won't starve to death.
