Introducing PipClock 1.1, the Nuclear Wasteland Survival App. Before leaving the Vault, check for health hazards like Acid Rain, Toxic Fogs or Fallout Vapors. Measure the radiation with the built-in Geiger Counter or scavenge the wasteland keeping track of distance and direction using the Target Maps and the Compass! All you need to survive, at your finger tips! Surviving in the Post-Apocalyptic scorched wastelands, scavenging for food and guns under the radioactive fallout is not an easy job, is it? Radioactive clouds, toxic rain, mutants, ghouls and zombies are just few of the safety hazards that you need to be aware of, every single day of your life. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rpXxEzwXVQ&feature=player_embedded#at=131

It will be interesting to see how all the technologies that are currently in developmental stages will progress just in the next 10 years, let alone our lifetimes. The cheetahbot and the mule are amazing technologies that are going to soon see the battlefield alongside exoskeletons. In 8-10 years soldiers will be wearing them in combat, and in 5 years tethered versions will be used for logistics.

Just wait until they get nanotech implanted in the human body. You ain't seen nothing yet. If you can get your hands on the Alternity version of Gamma World, you can get an idea of the sorts of things nanotech can do. Ray Kurzweil is a futurist who writes about this stuff. He came up with the term Singularity. While I don't agree with a lot of the social ramifications of what he says, he seems to be spot on where it comes to the direction technology is heading.

That's interesting, though it doesn't look very tough. I would worry about tearing it or scratching it.
