It looks pretty cool, but it's expensive. The video was interesting, it can light a match from how far though.

Well its a laser so depending on atmospheric conditions, a mile or so? And for a hand held burning cutting laser $200-$300 is incredibly cheap with the exception of that model it's unheard of as far as I am aware. It also warns that it burns through flesh and like any laser will blind of course.

Put it on your gun lol, room clearance. Blind your enemies before they can kill you to.

no for that i would use a surefire strobe to blind my enemy those things are no joke we used them in iraq, it more then temporarily blinds you, you cant see straight for like 5 minutes afterwards and you tend to get a headache from the thing. Those cost just as much as the laser except that the arctic laser isn't intended to be used as an aiming device.

Actually I found the gun strobes for like $120, I think I will get one and put a picatinny rail system on my ak cause the strobe can be used as a flashlight as well but if they are still like the ones we had in iraq they go through batterie pretty quick and they use odd batteries that will be alittle harder to find when the SHTF after awhile where as AAs and such will be openly traded and trickle charged. Need to find a gun strobe that takes common batteries.

That would probably be best, I will stick with the laser though.

The problem with lasers is dust. Throw up enough dust and it attenuates the power of the laser. Now if you're talking a laser cutter, then dust probably won't have much of an effect. Now if you're talking a sniper rifle or assault rifle, dust matters very much. Handguns would be kind of iffy. Depends on how close you were.
